I love this perspective. After my own brain injury, resilience rarely looked like courage or confidence. More often it looked like showing up for therapy, writing things down, taking a walk, or simply getting through the day when everything felt harder than it used to. Comparing our recovery to someone else's only creates suffering. The real question is, "What's my next small step?" That's where progress begins. Thanks for this, Lisa.

This is beautiful Lisa! I love your call out and what a way to remove the shame that comes with so much of the expectations that are heaped on in the name of resilience. ❤️
